Are there hidden fees?

No. The setup price is fixed. The $89/month covers managed hosting, SSL, annual domain renewal, security updates, your monthly content updates, and email support. No surprises.

Do I own the site?

Your domain is always registered in your name — it's yours no matter what. The code and hosting are managed by YankzWorld on your behalf as part of the service. After 12 months on any plan, you can request a free code transfer and take your site anywhere. Before that, a one-time handoff fee applies.

How fast can we launch?

Most Solo sites are delivered within 1–2 weeks of the discovery call and receiving your content.

Common questions

How does pricing work?▾

Sprint and Build engagements are quoted as fixed-price after a discovery call — you'll receive a one-page proposal with scope and timeline before any work starts. Retainers are billed monthly. Detailed quotes are sent on request.

How does payment work?▾

50% to start, 50% on delivery for fixed-scope work. Retainers are billed monthly via Stripe. All invoices are itemised and tax-compliant for Quebec and Canadian businesses.

What if scope changes?▾

Scope changes are normal — we agree on the change and a price for the addition before it goes in. No retroactive surprises.

Do you sub-contract?▾

No. Every line of code shipped is in-house. If a project needs design or copy we'll recommend trusted independents you can hire directly.

Do I own the code?▾

Yes — always. You receive the full source code, placed in your own GitHub organization or delivered however you prefer. There are no licensing fees, no lock-in, and no strings. If we ever stop working together, everything keeps running under your control.

What tech stack do you use?▾

We reach for Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Postgres for most web projects — tools with long track records and strong communities. For automation and infra work we use Python, Docker, and Nginx. We're stack-agnostic: if you have a preference or an existing codebase, we'll work with it.

Do you offer ongoing maintenance after the project is done?▾

Yes. Most fixed-scope projects include a 14–30 day support window post-launch. After that, ongoing support is available via a light infrastructure retainer (monitoring, backups, updates) or through a monthly retainer for continued engineering work. We'll recommend the right level based on your setup.

I'm not technical — can you still help me?▾

Absolutely. Many of our best clients are self-employed professionals, founders, and small business owners who have a clear problem but aren't developers. We handle the full scope — design, build, deploy — and deliver everything with plain-language documentation so you know exactly what you have and how to use it.
